Welcome to Mountain Azure Shelter Cove, a spacious 5-bedroom, 3-bath coastal retreat set on 1.3 private acres surrounded by sweeping ocean and forest views. Designed for families, friends and larger groups, the home comfortably accommodates 16+ guests with two king beds, two queens, two fulls, two twins, two queen sleeper sofas and a double futon. Inside, there’s plenty of room to gather—and plenty of space to spread out. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, generous living areas and a formal dining space designed for memorable meals together. Upstairs offers another comfortable place to unwind, complete with a 77" TV. The garage has been transformed into a relaxed game room and hangout space featuring a pool table, bar and 77" OLED TV—perfect for movie nights, friendly competition or spending time together after a day exploring the Lost Coast. The primary bedroom is its own private retreat, featuring a king bed, sitting area and 55" OLED TV. The ensuite bath includes a two-person jetted tub positioned to take advantage of the ocean view—a relaxing place to soak and unwind. Outside, more than 1,200 sq. ft. of deck space invites you to slow down and enjoy the coastal setting. Gather for meals, fire up the BBQ, sip your morning coffee overlooking the scenery or settle in as the evening rolls across Shelter Cove. The property also offers ample parking for 10+ vehicles. Traveling with little ones? A high chair, baby gate, Pack ’n Play and kid-friendly dinnerware are available. Dogs are welcome too, with a small partially fenced side yard for added convenience. Tucked into the rugged beauty of California’s Lost Coast, Mountain Azure Shelter Cove offers the space and comforts of a large private home with the scenery of a true coastal escape—a place to gather, explore, reconnect and make memories together.
Other Details to Note
Shelter Cove is a beautiful, remote coastal community, so part of the experience is getting away from it all. Cell service and other services can be more limited than in larger towns, and we recommend arriving with groceries and essentials, especially for longer stays. The home does not have central air conditioning. Fans are provided for warmer days, and individual heaters are available for comfort during cooler coastal weather. The property is on a septic system, so we ask guests to flush only toilet paper and avoid using bleach or other harsh products. The jetted tub in the primary suite is an indoor two-person soaking tub that is filled fresh for each use—it is not a hot tub. A few locked closets and designated storage areas contain owner and housekeeping supplies and are not available to guests. All other guest areas of the home are yours to enjoy. Shelter Cove’s remote setting, abundant wildlife and ever-changing coastal weather are all part of what makes a stay on California’s Lost Coast so special.
